I am excited to begin the 2021-2022 school year! I am one of 6 fifth grade teachers and our school year begins August 2,2021. The school day first bell rings at 8:50 - 3:50 My school information will be sent home to all parents on Friday by email or printed. Please make sure I have your email.

If you do not hear from me within 24 hours, please call the school again. The best way to communicate with me is by writing an email or calling the school.

Rules and Consequences: I expect each child that I teach to be prepared for each and every day with me!

SPOT RULES: S-Safe, P-Polite, O-On task, T-Teamwork.
Homework Policy: Homework is an extension of our class work. There will be nightly homework in math and reading and other subjects. Students should read at least 30 minutes each night, and be prepared to do reading response activities in class. Math homework will be given each evening and will take your child about 20 minutes. There will occasionally be homework in science and, throughout the year hopefully, there will be long-term language arts/social studies projects. Homework will be checked daily. Parents are to look at student homework and go over it with their parents. This verifies that we all are communicating about the weekly homework assignments. Homework is an extremely important part of learning! This is when students have the opportunity to practice the skills learned at school each day.
